Ruined and Totally Worthless

Another warning given to me in the form of a dream or night vision last night concerning the Church in America, this time focused on Jeremiah 13:1-11.
I had a dream (or maybe night vision, I think I was awake) last night where the Lord showed me some sort of complicated machine with many parts. It had several large hoses coming out of it, several chords and plugs, and none of them were connected to anything. The machine was not functioning, and was covered with thick brown mud and sewage. I knew that this was the church in America. The Holy Spirit said to me, "They have lost their vital connection with me." And immediately I thought of the abiding in the vine spoken of in John 15. The Lord spoke to me saying, "They are ruined and totally worthless. They have nothing to do with me." His voice was so sad, his heart broken and disgusted. I knew that this was parallel to the ruined waistband in Jeremiah 13:1-11. I immediately began repenting on the behalf of the church and crying out for mercy. I knew that the only way for us to avoid being taken out to the trash heap of eternal judgment was to return to the Lord with fasting and weeping and mourning. We have disconnected ourselves through pride and defiled ourselves through idolatry. In our state we can neither please the Lord, nor save others. We have lost our saltiness, and can only be trampled under foot by men. We (the church) were made for relationship to God. We were made to receive through our vital union to Christ through the Holy Spirit, and to manifest the glory of God and advance his kingdom through that union with the Lord. Apart from that living union with the head the body is dead and lifeless. No amount of programs or works can accomplish anything apart from our relationship with God. No machine can function unless connected to a source of power. We must turn from the heart back to the Lord, we must return to the Lord our maker. We must repent, and return to our first love. The LORD has already take away our position as the city on the hill and light of the world, yet we are so disconnected from reality that we think we have something to offer to others. Our lamp-stand has been taken away and given to Africa, India, and China.
