Arrived In Korea

I just arrived in Seoul, Korea a few hours ago. It is a bizarre juxtaposition of familiar and unfamiliar. I am staying near and helping out at a church in seungnam just feet from Seoul International School where I attended middle-school way back in 1992. Many of the older landmarks are intact, but the whole area is far more developed and modern. Korea still has pretty much the same feel, giant apartment complexes and tons of tiny little convenience stores and restaurants in every side street. I am really excited about what the lord will do in these conferences. I believe the Lord wants to restore the Korean church to a culture of prayer and fasting, as well as taking them to new heights of intimacy. The web sites for the conferences are forerunnerkorea.org and ihop24.org.
